It’s a story of heroism, honour and camaraderie. The courage of the soldiers when facing a constant onslaught of attacks whilst in serving with the PWRR in Iraq, earning the unit a plethora of gallantry awards which included a Military Cross for Woody and a VC for Johnson Beharry.

Since 2005 Richard has been involved on three continents ensuring that the people he cares for are as safe as possible from the increasing risk of terrorism. Using his research; degrees from Leicester in Security & Risk Management and St Andrews in Terrorism & Political Violence; as well as a vast amount of empirical experience. He’s reintegrated Taliban fighters in Afghanistan, facilitated entry in Islamic State controlled Mosul, created security frameworks against the threat of Boko Haram and Al Shabaab in Africa and dodged Al Qaeda IEDs in Iraq.
